High Level Consultation Meeting/Interaction on the Decision of Constitutional Bench
To support the effective operation of the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court – the constitutionally designated body to look into disputes that emerge in course of operationalization of the federalization. The project had prepared a strategy paper on this topic. In order to conduct a peer-review of the decisions of the Constitutional Bench by mobilizing experts and judges, the project organized two consultation meetings.
"Soliciting Citizens' Input in the Law-making Process through Town Hall Meetings" REVIEW MEETING
The Nepal Law Society (NLS) with the support from the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and in collaboration with the Federal Parliament Secretariat had initiated the project on 'Soliciting Citizens' Input in the Law-making Process through Town Hall Meetings.' The aim of the project was to facilitate public participation in policy and law making through the citizens' engagement and supporting the inclusion of major stakeholders in public issues and law making through dialogue process.

Nepal Law Society (NLS) with the support from The Asia Foundation (TAF) is implementing the project entitled “Support the Constitutional Dispute Settlement Mechanisms and Judicial Function of Local Government” since March 2019. This is a continuation of the first phase of the project "Needs Assessment to Support the Constitutional Dispute Settlement Mechanisms; Inter-Governmental coordination and Judicial Function of Local Government"

Nepal Law Society with the support from IFES, and, in cooperation with, the Election Commission of Nepal (ECN). Under this project, a draft of integrated law was prepared and subjected to series of consultations with the stakeholders. In this connection, the Nepal Law Society organized a consultation meeting between project experts and ECN officials at Hotel Summit, Lalitpur on 15th of December 2019.
