A seasoned bureaucrat, he reached to the top position of Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal. Previously, he was the Secretary at the Ministry of Law and headed dozens of boards and institutions. He is a former chairperson of Public Service Commission. Pushpa Bhusal (Gautam), Vice-chairperson Ms. Pushpa Bhusal (Gautam) is the Vice Chairperson of Nepal Law Society (NLS) since 2018. She has 25 years of experience as a lawmaker holding such high responsibilities as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, whip of Nepali Congress and member of Constituent Assembly. Suneeta Regmi Pokhrel, Treasurer Ms. Suneeta Regmi Pokhrel is the treasurer of Nepal Law Society (NLS) since 2015. She is a senior advocate with experience of practicing law for more than 30 years. She is an expert on mediation having handled hundreds of court referred mediations. She has worked extensively in legal literacy, gender justice, leadership training and capacity building training for grass-root women and women involved in politics all over Nepal. Usha Malla Pathak, Joint Secretary Ms. Usha Malla Pathak is joint secretary of Nepal Law Society (NLS) since 2018. She is a senior advocate with expertise on gender justice, mediation, arbitration and legal literacy. She was the first woman to become vice chairperson of Nepal Bar Association (NBA) – the umbrella organization of lawyers of Nepal. Madhab Prasad Poudel, Member Mr. Madhab Prasad Paudel is an executive member of the Nepal Law Society (NLS) since 2018. Mr. Poudel is a renowned law expert having held positions such as Law Secretary and Chairperson of Law Commission of Nepal. He was appointed as Minister for Information and Communications in 2013. Khim Lal Devkota, Member Mr. Khim Lal Devkota is an executive member of the Nepal Law Society (NLS) since 2018. Mr. Devkota is a senior advocate with 35 years of experience in legal matters. He is a CA member and was a member of Interim Parliament. He was a member of Interim Constitution Drafting Committee. Krishna Man Pradhan, Executive Director Mr. Krishna Man Pradhan is expert on rule of law, electoral reforms and governance. He has led the Nepal Law Society (NLS) in the capacity of its Executive Director since 2000. His areas of expertise include governance, human rights and legal policy advocacy. He is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and networking to fulfill the vision and mission of NLS. A Master's in Political Science from the Tribhuwan University in Kathmandu, he has been involved in the civil society movement since past two and a half decades. He is also involved in leadership position of General Election Observation Committee (GEOC) as its general secretary. He also holds the position of general secretary of Constitution Watch Group (CWG) and chairperson of Rural Development Foundation (RDF). He is a facilitator of CA Women Caucus and is a council member of National Judicial Academy. He is also an elected executive council member of Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL).
